So...
I did my taxes yesterday (since I had nothing else to do because D&D was cancelled yet again. lol) and I'm getting a good return. Now I can't get away from HLJ, Rightstuf, and Newegg.
After shipping, the 2 things from HLJ that I want would be about $60 or more. And that's with the cheapest shipping.
And RightStuf would be about $123 with free shipping.
$180-$190... @-@;;; butiwantthemsomuch!!!!
On the Newegg side of things I also need to upgrade my computer. My 2009 rig is falling behind with a number of games since I held back on graphics (9800gtx+ which doesn't support dx11) and got a 2 core processor. But my current processor would stifle a new VGA card and a new processor means a new motherboard which means new sticks of RAM which means... Actually, just those 4 things would need to be upgraded. I don't know, I'll play around on Newegg some more later.
These all add up to a lot of money. And I'm supposed to make my return last as long as possible.
Oh well, I'll worry about it all later, off to Movie Night!
P.S. - Back from Movie Night and REDLINE was amazing! <3

Adventure! Stuff to know.
I came to realize I was quite late in mentioning the DnD Adventures of our new group from the Friday before last.
As our introduction to each other's characters and the "new to our characters" world of Neverwinter, the Drow (Phil) was being unjustly detained simply for being a Drow. The townsfolk seemed displeased with the actions of the obviously corrupt guards and were so distracted as he fought back that they failed to notice the contents of their purses going missing as the Human/Were-rat (Nic) made his way around the crowd. The Human, Goliath (Chris), Bugbear (Gir), Half-Elf (Jymm), Deva (Sarah), and my Pixie all eventually joined the fray. My pixie, Larkspur, made an impression... on the ground... multiple times... as he fell unconscious around 2-3 times in our first fight. The Goliath has now decided he needs protecting and has taken the duty upon himself apparently. Larkspur isn't sure whether to be amused or offended at the moment. Though as the player I am amused. :) At this point we met Lord Neverember who thanked us for dealing with the corrupt guards and requested that we help him with a few matters. We chose to travel to Helm's Hold. When we reached the town, most of us stayed at the inn for the night. Meanwhile, the Half-Elf found the cathedral and the beautiful priestess there to be quite welcoming. Though when he rejoined us in the morning he seemed to have fallen ill...
~~~
We ended up not playing this week due to our DM sleeping. When he finally woke up none of us were in a playing mood so we watched a few good movies. First, a newbie on the block, Tucker & Dale vs Evil. I don't want to spoil anything so I can't say why this is such an awesome movie but please take my word on it. It's on Netflix currently. We followed that up with everyone's favorite Christmas movie, Die Hard. :D And that pretty much wrapped up the night.
Adventure!
Sooo.... DnD was fun today. Pretty much a total party wipeout. lol. Only two people survived; Nefarian, who was dominated by a vampire but is technically dead now as he will be turned, and Sirocco Macaw, who as a kenku decided to jump from our location a mile in the air and glide to the surface with his wings. He lost his legs in the process. Our DM is letting Sirocco's player's new character carry him on his back. lol.
We're all rolling level 1 characters for next week. I've decided on a male pixie skald (currently namedRowan but may change Larkspur).
R.I.P. to Damalise, Andrew (?), Willow, Bomar, Terumi, Cookie, and (technically) Nefarian.
